Karibu in Tanzania
Tanzania is home to some of the best safari areas in Africa, offering diverse wildlife and landscapes. The Northern Circuit is famed for its incredible game-viewing opportunities with large mammals occurring in their thousands in the Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park.
The Southern Circuit offers a more remote and wild experience perfect for those who want to avoid crowds and chase adventure. Parks such as Nyerere (Selous) Game Reserve are one of the greatest of all in Africa, while the Ruaha National Park is known for its stunning scenery.
Heading out to the west of the country provides some of the greatest chimpanzee and primate viewing on the continent in the little-known Mahale National Park on the shores of Lake Tanganyika, while this could tie in with a gem of a wildlife area - Katavi, which boasts its own incredible wildlife viewing.
Additionally, Tanzania's coastline offers a diverse range of experiences, from the pristine beaches of the spice island, Zanzibar, to the more secluded shores of Pemba and Mafia Islands, all of which are great options for water-related activities such as diving and fishing.
